I have been a cna for 22 years. I am compassionate, caring . I believe in giving a person the dignity they deserve. No matter their living situation everyone deserves respect honesty.

I have been a Care giver for many years starting back in 2005. I took care of my Mother who had her leg amputated. I became a certified CNA in 2008 as well as a Social Worker when I graduated with my Bachelor Degree in 2008. I have worked in nursing homes and I worked on a psychiatrist unit at a hospital in Alamogordo from 2014-2016. I worked at a counseling center with the mentally ill, I worked in a domestic violence shelter with woman and children as a house supervisor. I have always worked with young adults as well as the elderly. I love helping people. I want to do whatever or say whatever I can do to help improve some ones life. When I was in college geriatrics was my preferred field of work I love talking to older people they have so much wisdom. They bring me a lot of joy, you can learn so much from an older person.

I like developing new skills and learning from others. I am very caring and enjoy making someone smile. I want to help improve the lives of people who need care by offering them companionship.

I have experience with helping individuals with simple daily routines. Medication reminders, running errands, light house keeping, light meal preps.

I have been working as a care3for 40+ years. I love my work, like knowing I'm helping people to have a better quality of life. I also enjoy being a companion and making them feel appreciated and needed. I love being with people in general and have s lot of patience. I hung out with my grandmother and her church ladies a lot when young, always got along great with them. This experience helped me to decide to do caregiving. A special moment of my caregiving years was getting a lady who was embarrassed about having Alzheimer's and in a depression, back to leaving her home and going out to places, working with her flowers again and eating better.

Well, i would first like to introduce myself, my name is Jasmine Joseph. I Am 32 years old. I've been in the healthcare industry since before i could even remember! My passion for making sure that everyone around me is taken care of and in good health not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I grew up in a very loving home, working under my mother's In-home daycare growing up, i knew when i was taking care of the infants and toddlers that taking care of people was a passion that i've always had. I've had many clients within the last ten years of my life working from Independent living Resources, to the Opportunity center. I've like to say that i come in and completely change these client's lives for the best. I Love being granted the ability to strengthen their minds, and prolong their lives as much as possible, and i hope to get the chance to do that for a family member of yours.

I am very patient, and understanding. I love to interact with people and have a knack for getting along with all types of people. I enjoy getting to know people and being able to make a difference in people's lives. I am drawn to caregiving because my mom and 3 aunts were all nurses and I enjoyed learning things from them. I always wanted to be in the health care field in some way or another. I enjoy helping people and knowing that I am able to give to others. I am proud to be a wife and Mother of 5 children, one of which is disabled.

I love taking care of the elderly and people that need the care . I started my journey when I helped take care of my grandfather it meant the world to take care of him knowing that at the end of the end I put a smile on his face. What I enjoy most about caring for people is know that they are being well taken care of and knowing that at the end of the day I put a smile on their face. Sometimes we might be the only family they have in their lives. My personal achievements that I can say that I am proud of is being a role model for the younger generation that wants to care for people in need.
