I've worked with a variety of patients including Dementia/Alzheimers, Parkinsons Disease, Autistic children etc. I love helping all kind of people especially the Geriatric population. I help with ADLs, run errands and become a companion who treats them with respect and dignity. I'm very attentive and a good communicator to my Patients. With my experience I can assure to help make any loved ones feel safe and well taken care of.
I am unique I have experience and I am compassionate for elders that are in need. Empathy is something else I bring to the table I am all for the client. When I was a child my grandmother became sick and needed assistance from caregivers they treated her well, furthermore she was an LPN and only wanted the best interest for her patients. I thought it would be great to help elders also have a positive mind set even on a not so good day. Have patience and listen. I must be reliable for my client and the family there is a job that needs to be done and I want them to know they can depend on me. I am trustworthy and honesty is a must. I've watched aides help my grandmother from 1996 to 2004 and they showed me things everyday they came so I would be able to help out myself when they are not there. I started working in home care 2009 after graduating school for medical assisting. I bring great work ethics love and care. Everyone needs someone to depend on and that is me. Thank you
I started taking care of my grandmother at the young age of 8, from then on I decided to be a caregiver because it is a rewarding experience to see the smile on any elderly face. Personal achievement are getting my certification in home health aide and nursing assistant, my next achievement is going to school to receive my nursing degree.
I've always had a great love for helping others even as a child. I'm very patient. I've been a licensed caregiver over twenty-six years. I love to make people happy and just to see a smile on their face knowing that I gave 110% caring for them. I always make sure that they're safe and comfortable while in my care. This is what I love doing.
What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aid (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.however I also got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aid Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.
I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I have worked with many home care agencies, but Easy Living really cares about their clients and workers. I like that they follow up with clients and caregivers to make sure we are all compatible and happy.
