I am a great caregiver because I actually wanted to become a nurse because I was raised by my grandmother and I watched her be a caregiver to her parents and kids and also raise me as a daughter and I am her granddaughter. My great grandmother had multiple sclerosis when I was growing up as a young child and she lived next door to us. I used to go help my grandma take care of her till she got bedridden and passed. Both of my grandfathers also had Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's I was also a full-time caregiver to one of them as a young adult. What I enjoy most about being a nurse and a caregiver is companionship. Everyone needs somebody especially the elderly it's very lonely when you get older and I love being a nurse/ caregiver to have my client feel that Most beautiful experience of Someone that actually cares.

I am a retired Recreation Therapist with my Master degree and 37 years of paid experience working with seniors. I have much training working with Alzheimer’s dementia. I live locally, am very kind and patient, am reliable, honest, dependable and am hard working. I can provide many activities to increase their quality of life; I also have 4 years of experience working in their home, as I am also a Certified Home Health Aide; I assist them with ADL skills, assisting them getting out of bed, getting washed, getting dressed, toiletting, eating, doing light house work, cooking, driving to appts and dispense medications. Love taking care of elderly people

I am 54 years old. God gave me a gift to help elders, and I love that gift! I have been doing this all my life. I can't express enough how it makes me feel to go home knowing I made them smile, or laugh for that day. I think exercise is very important if they are capable, and Companionship, Honesty, and just having a heart that cares for people. I go above and beyond for my elders, and I will treat them as they were my very own.

Hello! My name is John Steele. I am a very loving, caring person with a real heart for serving and helping others. I have always had a special interest in caregiving because of my involvement in helping to care for my wife's 90 year old grandmother when she came to live with us, caregiving for a friend's father while his wife was recovering in the nursing home from hip surgery, and then caring for both of my parents as they began to experience issues related to aging and needing extra help. The thing that I enjoy most about caregiving is the feeling of accomplishment when a task is complete, knowing that I was instrumental in helping accomplish it. On a personal note, a verse from Scripture that drives me is where Jesus says "as much as ye have done to the least of these, ye have done it unto me." I am able to serve and honor the Lord as I serve an honor a family I am assisting. I can't think of any personal achievements that I am proud of right at the moment. I always felt like my caring, companionship and positive attitude as I was serving gave me a real joy.
