I'm a head strong mother of 3, entrepreneur, and wife! My passion comes with my personality of always being a "momma hen" which is what I love and why I'm great at...taking care of people. I strive for the best care of my patients and treat them as my own family because ultimately that's what they become, an extension of your heart and life. I have a very wide and extensive knowledge in all areas of care from nursing home long term care to hospital emergency room and pre/post surgical patients. I am very confident that I am a good fit for any patient and want to make sure that their family members feel that confidence in hiring me for their loved ones care. (Currently in the process of renewing my CNA license for record and will update that updated expiration date ASAP. Please keep posted.) My availability as of right now is Monday- Friday 7am-5pm and this is subject to change and willing to negotiate other shifts when I have availability. Just talk to me and let me know and if I can take the shift you need I will. I have worked graveyards before so I'm not opposed but being as though I have young children I prefer to stick to day shifts. I absolutely look forward to hearing from you!!!
Im upbeat, energetic, silly by nature, understanding and compassionate. I can be a strong leader and motivate others but I tend to do it through a combination of reason meets humour. I love the outdoors and love helping others stay independent. I know what its like to be on the recieving side of care so it really means a lot to me to preserve dignity and be a friend to my clients. I have extensive experience and training, am prompt and dependable. I am a problem solver and athough my demeanor is best described as silly, I am a professional and conduct myself as such. Humour is just a great way to connect and lighten the mood when things are otherwise difficult. I am proud of a great many accomplishments throughout my career, my greatest achievment is my ability to help someone go from being about to be placed into a long term care facility, to being completely able to function on their own without me. A little know how, hard work, time, and TLC can go a long way to restoring independence.

I am an LVN with a history of individual care of elderly, terminally ill patients and patients with special needs. I am energetic, organized and detail-oriented. I do my best to make sure that all duties are performed professionally and to my patient's and employer's standards and satisfaction. I have been interested in having a career in the medical field since I was a young girl. Throughout my adult life I have tried to pursue a career in nursing, but only recently have I been able to accomplish that. I have cared for a special needs patient for 13 years and have cared for patients with various other types of needs since 1999. I enjoy helping others. I want to do whatever I can to help make the lives of those with disabilities and illnesses easier and more productive while allowing them to maintain as much of their independence as possible.
