Thank you for considering me! I am a mother, wife, and have been a housewife for many years. Your care is as important to me as my own family. I am trustworthy, loyal, nurturing, and I have some education. I feel like I am a compassionate person and my references would agree. I keep a clean house and I'm very organized. I cared for one of my great grandmother until she passed away in 2015-she was 87. I also helped and cared for my other great grandmother who passed away in December of 2018. She had Alzheimer's and was in a nursing home but I spent a lot of time there brushing her hair, talking to her, making her laugh and smile, feeding her, and helping with her grooming and anything she needed. So life experience has been the best experience! I really have a passion and respect for our elders and they deserve the best. I love learning from their wisdom and I love the companionship. I also love to cook and I absolutely love helping anyone in anyway I can.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to care for the elderly I have always had a passion for doing it.i enjoy being a caregiver because I get to see what I helped doing for others and smiling faces. I always wanted to be a caregiver and help and see everybody happy with what I do.
I am originally from New York and am of Italian descent. I am married to a retired U. S. Navy man and therefore have some basic knowledge and appreciation of the military. I have been in the healthcare field for the last 21 years and switched over to Home Health in 2005. I really enjoy helping people with their health needs, especially those who cannot do for themselves, such as the disabled or elderly. Most of my patients have been the elderly suffering from dementia or Alzheimers. However, I have also cared for a couple of centenarians who simply needed companionship and occasional errands done for them. I am a very friendly and outgoing person who is also very neat and clean.
I have a great personality always happy, and careing , I love helping others I love the one on one making sure they are good. Wow , I get to make someone Smile.
My personality traits are loving, caring, and patience
I love taking care of the elderly. I have my own ministry called the Forgotten One's! A lot of times we forget they still do exist.
I enjoy taking care of the elderly, you never know when you may need someone help, and you want to be treated with kindness, and love.
My personal achievement is doing the best I can do each and everyday!
I started caregiving at the age of 25 and I am now 35 and still in the home health industry. I love taking care of the elderly. I have almost 11 years experience with the elderly. I have worked with many different kinds of patients. I love that I can do the things for them that they can no longer do anymore, and just to see their smiling faces everyday when I show up to work. Knowing that I can make a change in their day to day lifes makes my heart rejoice.
My compassion and patience are my greatest contributions to my field. I love the elderly and enjoy enriching their lives. I not only want them to be able to function in a healthy manner, but enhance their condition of life.

What makes me a great caregiver is because this is my God given Gift to care for His love ones. We each have a Gift that God has given us before we were born, and mines is to be able to care for the Elderly. At the end of the day, I get to go home knowing that I was given an opportunity, and the challenge and the blessing of being able to care for the Elderly. I think that's why I was put on this earth, and I think its' my calling like I said earlier in this statement. This is my purpose in life, and I am fulfilled by doing so. Below is a prayer I wrote.
Our father, as I enter into the Homes of your love ones, I bring your presence with me. I speak your Peace, your Grace, your Mercy and your Perfect Order as I, the caregiver do your will. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, though, decided, and done within these walls.
Lord, I thank you for the Gifts that you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your Honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do your will. Anoint my projects, and ideas, so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you Glory.
Our Heavenly Father, when I as your Servant am confused; guide, and lead me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the Light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do, and the way that I do it, bring Faith, Joy, and a Smile to all of your love ones that I come in contact with each and every day.
Thank you Heavenly Father for given me, the Caregiver an opportunity, and the challenge, and the Blessings of being able to care for, and to help your love ones, the ELDERLY.
In Jesus name, I pray,
AMEN
So you see, this is who I am, and my Character, and who God created me to be!
Thank you!
I started taking care of the elderly when I was 17 and I am now 45. I have worked in the medical field my whole life. It is all I want to do. I love to take care of other people. Over the last 28 years I have dealt with many types of people and have never met a stranger or a problem that I could not deal with. I am a Certified Medication Aide as well as a Certified Nurse Aide. They say when you love what you do at work that you never really worked at all. That is me.
I am a great caregiver because I am pationate about helping others with daily life task caring for some one comes natural to me. When I work with people I always have them tell me that I'm special and that they look forward to seeing me when I'm at work I make their day and they make my day. I am really proud of myself with completing the spots in people's lives that can't be filled by some people.
