I am an LVN with a history of individual care of elderly, terminally ill patients and patients with special needs. I am energetic, organized and detail-oriented. I do my best to make sure that all duties are performed professionally and to my patient's and employer's standards and satisfaction. I have been interested in having a career in the medical field since I was a young girl. Throughout my adult life I have tried to pursue a career in nursing, but only recently have I been able to accomplish that. I have cared for a special needs patient for 13 years and have cared for patients with various other types of needs since 1999. I enjoy helping others. I perform at least 20 hours of community service a week and have been with the same organization for over 10 years. I am compassionate and caring. I want to do whatever I can to help make the lives of those with disabilities and illnesses easier and more productive while allowing them to maintain as much of their independence as possible.
I am a hard working, loving person that enjoys helping others. I have a special needs child so I am familiar with working with trachs, ventilators, and mentally and physically dependent patients.
I'm a head strong mother of 3, entrepreneur, and wife! My passion comes with my personality of always being a "momma hen" which is what I love and why I'm great at...taking care of people. I strive for the best care of my patients and treat them as my own family because ultimately that's what they become, an extension of your heart and life. I have a very wide and extensive knowledge in all areas of care from nursing home long term care to hospital emergency room and pre/post surgical patients. I am very confident that I am a good fit for any patient and want to make sure that their family members feel that confidence in hiring me for their loved ones care. (Currently in the process of renewing my CNA license for record and will update that updated expiration date ASAP. Please keep posted.)
My availability as of right now is Monday- Friday 7am-5pm and this is subject to change and willing to negotiate other shifts when I have availability. Just talk to me and let me know and if I can take the shift you need I will. I have worked graveyards before so I'm not opposed but being as though I have young children I prefer to stick to day shifts. I absolutely look forward to hearing from you!!!
