I am a Prime Factor caregiver Seeing the need of another and providing the care in which a client need. I have over 20years experience with a sense of empathy, patience, attentiveness very respectable. I am also honest, trustworthy, very dependable, reliable, compassionate, and have a Realistic outlook on caring for the elderly. I love working with the elderly my main goal in this field is to treat my clients like I would like to be treated. My specialty is Alzheimer's/Dementia I am very experience with a lift and bathing , observe medication dispense, and very good with meal preparation, I also engage and encourage daily activities, and follow the care plan. I also provide light house cleaning, provide companionship to clients needs, I also maintain a safe,clean and healthy environment. What attracted me to this field as a young girl I was raised by my grandparents and my grandfather had a major stroke and he had to learn everything all over and @ the age of 12 I told him we would get threw this so I told my grandmother to schedule every therapy after school in which she did so everything they did I wrote down and practice with him the days and weekends they did not come and also speech therapy so this what got me into care giving. I took care of him as well as my grandmother so to me this is why things comes so natural for me in this area of work. If you would like references I can provide during interview.

I have been a CNA since September 2002. When I initially took the course, I was doing it for the paycheck. It didn't take long to realize and understand that no amount of money could make me feel as wonderful as what providing care for the elderly did\does. I have tried to go in to other areas of employment, but my heart is in Nursing. I truly believe that this is my calling. By January 2019, I will be enrolled in the LVN program through HMH in Huntsville, TX. Some thing that I have been simply dreaming about. I have Grandparents and other people that I care deeply about. Each and every time I come in contact with a patient\resident, I care for them and treat them as I EXPECT for some one in my own family to be treated. I play close attention to detail and act swiftly if there are any concerns of any kind.

I am kind hearted and love to look after others. My grandmother has had a caregiver ever since I was a very young little girl. I always loved going over to her house and keeping her company talking about my daily activities and telling her what I would learn in school, till this day when I go back home to visit I still find myself going to her house and telling her about my college experiences. I noticed how my parents and aunts and uncle would take care of her when her caregiver was never around and it was great seeing all the family together as one helping out another family member in need. I want to be able to help other families like that it makes my heart fill up with love knowing there are families like mine that will come together to help one another in need. Although, I know I am not really apart of your family I would love to become one! I like knowing that my companionship and my help truly means something to someone that really wants me there by their side. I love to clean and cook and make the environment feel like a loving home. I am a responsible young adult who likes to get things done when needed too. A personal achievement that I am proud to have done would be the trust I gained from my grandmother, I was able to show her that I could also help her in ways that her sons and daughters help her out. I was capable of doing the exact same things they did too and it took a while to show her that but in the end it was worth the wait.
