I retired early and was a caregiver for a 90 year old woman three days a week for three years. Sorry to say, she passed away recently. I went to nursing school to help take care of my brother, but he passed while I was in school. In 1999, my mother had a stroke, and she needed help, so my skills kicked back in and cared for her for over 6 years. After her passing, I continued caregiving to give families peace of mind. So since, 2007, I've been a in home private duty caregiver. Able to help families keep their loved ones at home and I developed a one-on-one care as a professional caregiver.
Experience makes me a great care giver. I've been doing this since 2005. I love what I do and to see the smiles on my clients face makes it worth while. I get involved with their daily activities even doing exercise . . I have worked with a few families and in side facilities. I have done hospice care and more.I also have worked in memory care and dementia clients. Even Adults with mental illness. I come from a large family and as a child it was second nature. I love the smiles and the warmth that comes with being a caregiver.

Overall my greatest achievement is working for publix for twenty years providing premier service and now I'm soon to retire In November 2016.
