Hi I am 20 years old and I am very interested in being a caregiver I believe that my kindness and the fact that I'm a hard worker will help me be a great caregiver. The fact that I am helping people and knowing that I am giving my all makes me wanna be a caregiver. spending time with the residents is only the best part getting to know them seeing the joy you bring in there lives makes you want to continue to work with them. I have over 20 years experience over a variety of different Healthcare situations. At this time, I prefer to work one- on- one with my clients to assist with daily living skills, medications, meal planning, cleaning, personal cares, and other tasks as needed. I am extremely passionate about my care and I am very detail oriented, I have been through many different challenging situations throughout my years professionally, and can adapt very well to my surroundings effectively and efficiently. I strive to bring the best care I can for my client considering all presented concerns.

I am a very caring and compassionate person. Taking care of individuals who can't take care of themselves gives me purpose. I have always been a nurturing person. Helping others helps me feel like I'm making a difference. I have the patience to handle challenging behavior by learning different personalities.

I know after taking care of my mother in her home how hard it is to find good help. I am semi-retired...I want to help with a family/families that are trying to keep mom or dad out of the nursing home or just need temporary help for recovery. I prefer 2nd or 3rd shift hours, but may consider otherwise.

Caregiving takes a special type of person. It can be very difficult for clients to receive help-- especially if it is through an agency that throws them a different caregiver every time. This job requires that you keep that thought in your mind at all times, and understand the discretion and quiet dignity that it calls for. Being younger can cause an issue for me due to the "generation gap" between me and my clients; however, what I lack in that area, I make up for with a lot of love (and a little goofiness, because that's important too). Although I am newer to this, I have had a lot of positive feedback so far, from both families and clients. I would prefer to work with someone consistently, so we can build a relationship that this type of care needs, which in turn will be less of an intrusion on my client's personal space since they will be seeing a familiar, smiling face. My job is extremely fulfilling, and I often go home with my heart FULL!! I can see myself doing this for a long, long time. Mister Al Einstein could not have said it any better than: "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile."

I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. CNAs don't always get competitive pay. Thank you for your time.

I have had a passion for health care & mostly the elderly population since I was in Kindergarten. However, I enjoy helping anyone who needs my assitance. I became a care giver because of the need & my own self satisfaction of helping others. I am proud to say I have been a Medical Assistant for the past 20 plus yearsr but feel I have come to a point in my career where the clinic setting has becomemore of a business and not very personal & caring. In the office setting you are rushed to room patient's that it has taken over the personal touch that I was proud to give. I feel the home setting you can be one on one which probably makes the patient feel more comfortable & the focus of why we are there to help them. I enjoy helping others to make their lives as full and content for them as possible.
