I have been a caregiver and med tech for 13 years, I absolutely love this line of work, I am a volunteer firefighter have been doing that since I was 16, I have 2 siblings with disabilities and a brother in law I have cared for them since a young age, they are the reason I got into this line of work

I enjoy making the quality of life better for everyone from newborns to our seniors in our golden years. To make them smile, in their eyes alone, means a great deal. Moreover, I have a track record of giving elderly and child care and immensely enjoy each moment of my work. Caregivers need to be patient, empathetic, and extremely dedicated to their work. Providing emotional support is also very important. I am a caregiver by nature, and could not think of a better way to give than working as a caregiver. I was recently looking after a disabled patient, whom the doctors had said did not have many chances to walk. However, through consistent therapy/exercise and encouragement, I made sure that he started walking within months, despite the doctors believing otherwise. These are the wonderful joys I get out of my job as a caregiver everyday.
