Hi! I am Ukrainian. My name is Natalya.. I am warking as a private caregiver in your home. I am doing a meal preparation, light housekeeping and companionship, remind to take medicine, can do shopping. I like to sing, puzzles games, gardening, like to listen and tell different stories. I can easily create freandly relationships. I am funny, like jokes and be joking. I speak English, Russian and Ukrainian. I understand and speak some Polish. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics. I took care of my parents. My father had a stroke, my mother died of Alzheimer's disease and my mother-in-law had parkinson's. I took care of them. So in total I have about 15 years of caregiver experience. I can work three days a week for 12 hours or more days depending on the terms of the agreement. I prefer the patients who are walking or who can stand up on their own feet and I'll take care of the rest. I'm sure anyone who is interested in my profile will not regret about.

I love the challenge of working with seniors because I am rewarded by helping people of all ages.I am particularly blessed by working with older people because I have a passion for them. I enjoy listening to the stories and past experiences of the elderly.

I started caregiving over ten years ago and found out that helping other people In there time of need and to make them as comfortable as possible was what I wanted to do in life. I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that in the last year I have gotten my dad into the best mental, nutritional health that he has been in in the last 30 years.

I have been a caregiver for 8yrs i love helping the elderly have a big heart for it. I went to cna school as well. . I enjoy talking to elderly and making a difference in their life. Makes me feel good knowing im doing something good for them and that i put a smile in their face. I love to make them feel loved and secure with me ... i make them feel like part of my life .

Being a caregiver you MUST have the Empathy and compassion. It is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to this kind of Job. By showing both empathy and compassion, caregivers should let the client they are caring to know that they care about them or the person and want to do what they can to help them. To me, A \"Good caregivers\" are those who naturally have an urge to help others. Often times, they are people who have always placed a priority on helping other people. They want to make the world a better place and they do it with one home care patient at a time. Becoming a good home caregiver isn't something that will necessary happen immediately, but if the basic qualities are there, those people can develop their skills over time to become great!!!!
