I started in the medical field right out of High School and I'm currently attending school to receive my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. I wanted to learn to be a caregiver so when my parents get old to take of my father. He has past 16 yrs now. I enjoy taking care of elderly I love there smiles.

I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I assist with Activities of Daily Living and Intermental Activities Daily Living, Bathing, grooming , toileting, feeding,meal prep, Transportation to Dr, errands, and most importantly companionship is always the first. I try to prepare for possible difficulties that patients might experience and take the necessary measures to make things easier for the client and your family. I am very forth right, I take pride in giving hope and making tomorrow a brighter day for my clients. No job is to big or overwhelming for me to tackle. I am very protective and very loving. I am fast and efficient in emergency situations, I do not freeze or panic in my clients time of needs. I enjoy taking my clients out for activities and trips( no one can excel staying in a chair all day) Dr appointments, grocery shopping, puzzles, crafts and activities keep the mind sharp and on point. That's what I strive for[?] Whatever is important to my client becomes important to me and I will remember all of those dates and address them accordingly.. No house work is too much for me.. if they have a project they would like to do we will get it done one way or the other.. cooking is not a problem. Also am very familiar with thickened liquids and Pureed meals. Whatever they may need I am at their disposal.
