I'm proud to say that I have been in the health care field for a little over 20 years on and off. I became a caregiver straight out of high school really not knowing what I was really getting myself into, but ever since I completed my training I have found that I enjoy being able to help others no matter how small or big. I find myself seeing those in need as family members and it so hard not to get attached as we are often told. A lot of times we as caregivers are all they seem to have, who would listen and show that they matter and that we care.
