My name is Krystal Orris, I'm 37 yrs old. I have been a Geriatric care specialist for 17 yrs. I became a GCS in 2005 to help work in Geriatric Care with the hopes of one day becoming a nurse. I have lots of experience in long term care. I'm passionate and very responsible. I helped take care of my granny for a long time before she passed. I enjoy being a caregiver because I have a big heart and a lot of love for the elderly I love helping them with whatever they need. I also prefer to work Monday through Friday. Mornings work best for me. Weekends off.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I have a passion for caring for others. I have worked in the field for many years. I am experienced and dedicated to providing excellent care. I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people and enriching the lives of others. A personal achievement I am proud of is being the only one in my family to attend college and becoming a certified nursing assistant in 2007.

1. Why did you become a caregiver? I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. 3. what is a personal achievement you are proud? A personal achievement that I am proud of is caring for a client who didn't have any family and couldn't care for herself and becoming a big part of her life. 4. Tell us something about yourself? I am a very hard-working young woman I love being a certified nurses assistant. I love to helping people who aren't able to help themselves as if they would like to. I am very honest, passionate and loving.

I'm a people person so I love to help! I became a caregiver because of my grandmother who needed a helping hand! I just enjoy helping! And I love people!

My name is Hope and I'm 19. I learned how to be a caregiver from my mom. Growing up I always had to help take care of her because of her lvad. I was always going to the doctors with her and wanted to be one when I grew up. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is connecting with the clients and their families. I love hearing about what jobs the clients worked, and learning about what kind of hobbies they like to do. Having a good relationship with the client and the clients family is very important to me to help the client get the best care!
