When I was 17 my grandmother got diagnosed with dementia she slowly started to go downhill from that point. I took care of her up until she passed away in 2013 and I decided that I wanted to take care of people for a living so I got my CNA certificate. I love working with elderly people and knowing that I can make a difference in their lives and helping others. Im very patient, kind, and love to keep people entertained :-)

I worked on a dementia unit where I would shower seven residents and get them up and ready for breakfast. I would keep them entertained with activities and chart any changes they have as well as maintain a clean work space
