What makes a good caregiver starts right with the word care, you must care about people, all people. You must see all people worthy of living a good life. As a former teacher, I practiced this. I pretended that each one of my students were my children whom I loved and adored and of course as a mother I want the very best for my children. Well the same principles apply here. If these people were my mom or dad, whom I adored, how would I want them to be treated? I ve been a care giver before for both of my parents, I've been a foster parent for 6 children that weren't related to me, and I would not trade those experiences. For most people it is a hard job, for me it's what I do well.
