When I was 12 years old my great grandfather came to live with us and it was apart of my responsibility to help care for him. At that time my family noticed I had a natural ability to care for people. I did such an amazing job that when he died my family used part of the money he left to pay my first year of college tuition. Since then I've cared for my grandfather before he passed from cancer, and am currently assisting with the care of my grandmother who has dementia. My long term goal is to open an daycare for seniors so I'm looking to transition out of retail and follow my passion.
