I have taken pride in my ability to provide excellent care to any and all clients that I have worked for. I am a dependable worker and take pride in my work. I enjoy being able to help those that cannot always do certain things for themselves so he/she can continue to be at home. I also work for the lab at Unity Point Finley Hospital, as a Phlebotomist, where I continue to offer my services to those that come in and need lab related services. I'm a hard and dependable worker with 12+ years of experience.

I have been a caregiver for 8 years, I've loved forming connections to the clients to help them get through the difficulties they face with everyday life. I am very patient and understanding during tough moments and can deescalate with validation and compassion. I have even assisted a few family members while in college before diving into this field as a career and really found it fulfilling to be able to give my all to those who need help.

I enjoy visiting with and getting to know the clients. It gives me much satisfaction to know I am giving back to others.

Hi, my name is Lekisha , I have a great attitude funny calm and s enjoyable and I enjoy helping take care of others. I became a caregiver to give back to those who cared for ones like myself.

I am very responsible and organized person. I enjoy being able to spend time with my clients and get to know them on a personal level. I look at all of clients as my grandparents and want to give them the best possible care I can. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and had dementia as well. I stayed home with her and took care of her until she passed. I had a very personal experience with caregiving and that's really when I decided I wanted to caregive for others. I enjoy being able to help others and create a bond with my clients.

I am calm, I have a sense of humor, but know when to be serious! I have a lot of patience and I'm fun-loving along with being organized and detail-oriented! I have always wanted to be a caregiver ever since I was a little girl, because working with the geriatric group brings me happiness as a person. The thing I enjoy most I being able to make a difference and each persons' life and giving them the exceptional care they deserve! A personal achievement I am proud of is staying at Mt. Carmel for 4 years in my adolescent years and making the honor roll with a GPA of 3.95 in High school!

I worked with 5 nurses and 1 doctor for 10 years, then went on my own for 13 years and am still working. I tended to Hospice patients and their families. Personal care and whatever family needed done . Changed linen, did hair, shaved men. My patients were rejuvenated after care. I never let one patientlose their dignity. This care gives me purpose in my life. It has taught me to live life well and take nothing for granted. My work is my life. I just love careing for people, and di any errands for family or let them know they could go run errands while I am taking care of their loved ones. It gave them a much needed break and knowing their loved ones are in good hands with me. I am a Clinton native and everyone knows me. I also saw patients in surrounding areas and Illinoise. Would love to teach Hospice care to aides. What I do you cannot learn in a book. I have so much knowledge, if I dont do alot of Hospuce I would love to have new aides carry on my knowledge and use it as they work. I dont care too much about pay, I just want to work in some capacity in Hospice. Thank you for a chance to make a difference in peoples life, and I know without a doubt.
