my grandma pass at age 101, and i was the person that took care of her, and during that time i found love and joy in taking care of earlderly and that is why i become a caregiver. Being a care giver keeps me busy during my shift ,doing one thing or the other i love to move around, doing activity, lundry,washing dishes,given bath or shower and cooking etc, finally my job reminds me of my old age. i derive joy in spending time with them, telling stories etc, helping them as needed. when they look foward to me, when am able to meet their needs, when i make them comfortable in there home and make them happy, and sometimes when they give me a thank you card with the words that discribe me, most of the times when they fells better than when i get there. then i will feel achieved and proud. i am 46yrs i love to taking care of elderly ,i love to clean, cook , etc. i am a mother of 2 boys 24yrs and 22yrs. 1 lives in california and the brother lives in new yoke, and i live by myself, i love to spend my time working on holidays ,weekends and i love my job.
