I am a very caring person specially with older people, patient and outgoing. when I was young I have to take care of my grandfather in his last days and ever since I find that I like to care for seniors. I like to share with seniors because I found a great deal of respect and admiration for them. I feel fortunate of been able to take care of the seniors in my life since a young age and I feel that I have what it takes to take care of them and that makes me feel very proud.

To begin with some personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are caring, helpful, trustworthy, and kind because I like helping people. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love to see their smiles and their happiness. A personal achievement that I am proud of is having to take care of my kids while studying, working, and still having time to spend with them.
Well am 44yrs of age I love working with the elderly. I was raised up by my mother and grandma and I always wanted to be a nurse.I'm a very giving individual soft spoken and big hearted. I have accomplished a few things I needed. To continue my path in the medical field.Am very out going hard and decaded to my job and career. And when i'm with a client I give my all as if they where a part of my family.I have experience with all need's. I work with clients with Dementia ,tube feeding, Cerebral Palsy,Multiple sclerosis, And clients with all kinda of change's
I think I'm a great caregiver because I genuinely care about my clients, their wellbeing, their safety, and their happiness. I'm an excellent problem-solver, communicator, listener, and observer. I enjoy using these skills to help people who need it. It's difficult and, in many ways, not terribly fun being dependent and in need of assistance, and after observing caregivers be impatient and kind of rude and rough with my childhood friend's grandmother, I found that I liked helping make life easier and more enjoyable for the elderly and otherwise vulnerable. Not enough people pay them any mind after a point, which can be isolating and depressing. Everyone deserves companionship and attention and to be helped when they cannot help themselves. A small personal achievement that also happened to double as a work achievement was when I had a dimensia client not too long ago who's favorite thing to do was try to \\"escape\\" the \\"hotel\\" he thought we were in that was really just his retirement community. Calming and distracting him were daily struggles. Meanwhile in my personal life, I'd just learned to play a song called Fur Elise and this was a personal achievement. Personal and professional converged when my client and I found ourselves in a room with a piano and he wanted to go but I started to play and he loved it and stayed. I played and he listened for over an hour, then we took a break and came back to it later that day and whenever he felt restless everyday after that, and it worked so wonderfully. I'd play the few songs I knew and practice others over and over and he'd watch and listen totally entranced and filled with compliments.

I am compassionate and empathetic to individuals and their needs. I have 8 years experience working with seniors. I was a live in caregiver in 2004 for a year ; that experince inspired me to want to become a CNA. I later became a CNA and has worked with nursing staffing agencies in the Chicago area, where I given assignments at various hospitals in Chicago to perform as a CNA, sitter, caregiver. I currently work at a senior primary physicians office, where I edcate seniors on medicare benefits and other healthcare issues. I enjoy working with this particular group , it not only puts me in a position to provide quality care, it gives me the ability to make someone life better.
My name is Regina Haymon and I've been a caregiver all my life. I always knew I wanted to be in the Nursing field when I had the chance to take care of my late great grandmother Elizabeth, until her passing in 2005. Since then I've been continuing my education (up until 2017) and working as a CNA for different facilities and most recently for a company that services clients as well. I enjoy them both, however I'm experiencing the pleasure of working "in home" as you get to connect and grow a real relationship with your client. I think it's really important that they trust you and you get to learn your client as much as possible to get them the best care and companion. If I'm not at a clients home, I'm probably with my grandmother(s) working for free. For some reason, Seasoned people love me, maybe because I'm still so young and full of life, but mature enough to take control.
Hello! My name is Brianna! I have been a caregiver for an approximate total of two years. I took some time off of caregiving to pursue a career in my degree field but found myself missing what I loved to do; helping others. There is nothing like doing the littlest thing to help someone in need. That is what has brought me back to caregiving. I love being a bright spot in someone's day and knowing I am making a direct impact on that clients life. I have a passion for others and would love to be able to care for your loved one or someone you know in need.
