I chose this profession because I want to make a difference in how people are treated I think there are people in this field for the wrong reason . I love making people happy and I want to treat every patient as if they were my mother, father, or grandparent. I'm very caring, empathetic to ones feelings, compassionate, a quick learner, and all about the safety and security of each and every person.
Hello: My name is Doreen but I would like to be called Susan. I am a caregiver with five years experience and I have very good references. My first client was my grandmother. I would call and check up on her to hear about how she was doing, make home visits, run errands and take her to the grocery store. Later (when looking for work I applied for a job caring for seniors and I got it. There I assisted with personal grooming, cooking, cleaning, errands, and taking the client to various places they needed to go too. Moving forward , I am able to communicate well with others, enjoy helping people and going above and beyond the call of duty if needed. I do display a professional presence, and I'm very reliable and dependable to give good service. If interested to know more feel free to email me at email@example.com or call me at 314-521-7160. And if I am not at home, please leave a message. Thanks for your time. Sincerely Susan.
1. I saw the incredible love shown to my Grandmother by caregivers when I was young, and was very thankful. 2. I like working with one or two people at a time instead of 12- 15 in a nursing home situation. 3.An ongoing situation I am proud of is the smiles I see on my peoples face when I arrive. They trust me and know I will take care of them. 4. I was a Med. Tech. in the Air Force and then became a C.N.A. Have had my certificate for 4 1/2 years now. 3 years were spent in a nursing home, This last year has been taking care of two separate ladies in their homes.

I am a very hard worker and I have no problem working with clients that know one else can please due to personalty are other reasons. I have a patient and understanding personality that helps me be able to do job assignments that others just dont have to perform the hard to please positions.
I was raised in a Christian home & try to live my life according to God's commandment's. Ever since I was little, I've ALWAYS felt a need to "help" others; in ANY capacity! What I enjoy most about helping others is getting to "know" my patients (I LOVE HISTORY) & talking to older people is like talking to a "live" history book! It's also the feeling you get @ the end of the day, knowing you hopefully made someone's day a little brighter, a little easier, & brought a smile to their face! Getting to "know" my patients in a 1 on 1 basis is key to me! Giving that "personalized" care that EVERY individual deserves!
About Me My Name is Keri ann Simms I am a lover of God , Novels ,Nature,People ,Places and laughter. My Grandmother was my encouragement to be a caregiver. One of the joys of being a caregiver is the simple but heartfelt thank you's and smiles you receive from your patients when you take care of them and made them feel good. I am Proud of My Faith in God that keeps me going day by day.
I'm normally very outgoing & consider myself a motivator. I try to have a positive attitude. I like to cook, & most hobbies & crafts, and enjoy teaching others. I am teaching myself carpentry and auto mechanics. I now consider myself a junkyard junkie. Don't worry I don't looks like it. My mother's disease became increasingly worse. I stopped working the 8-5 job to stay & care for my mom (24/5). I was a volunteer @ DePaul for few years. I enjoy helping others. caring for others is rewarding in without the praise. When a task is carried out well, the gratification comes from the patient's eyes. It's special acknowledgement for being able to help. That is the reward. I have a few personal achievements, I can brag later. On the driving test for a class B-CDL I scored the highest score the instructor had seen in 10 years.
