My name is Krystal Orris, im 34 yrs old. I have been a Geriatric care specialist for 13 yrs. I became a GCS in 2005 to help work in Geriatric Care with the hopes of one day becoming a nurse. I have lots of experience in long term care. Including hospice, home health, activities of daily living, companionship.
My name is Morgan. I am a CNA and have years experience with home healthcare, long term care, and the hospital setting. I am a dedicated and compassionate individual who strives to provide the best care I possibly can to residents or patients. I believe that my patient care skills make me a natural fit for this position. I have experience performing Nursing Assistant duties, including feeding, grooming and bathing patients while helping them with their other basic care needs. I assist the nurses with their daily duties when needed. My compassion for patients, along with my ability to communicate well with them, has always made me an asset in the workplace. I feel that my patient-driven approach, CNA skills and desire to learn new residents and or patients makes me a great caregiver/cna. I love connecting with the ones I care for, building a bond with means so much to me. I'm all about residents rights and how they will always come first. I became a cna as majority of my family is the medical field so it grew on me. I will be going back to school to finish the nursing program. This isn't a paycheck for me, this is truly where my heart is. Nothing makes my day better than knowing I did my job, I gave the best care I could give before their last breath, before the are sent home, or just at the end of the shift.
I am very loving and respectful. I have a huge heart and I'm willing to give a helping hand when needed. I have mastered the cello when I ws attending highschool. I am attracted to being a caregiver because it gives me a chance to help someone else be happy & feel loved. I enjoy the end result of being a caregiver, & when I say end result I mean seeing that smile on my clients face or just knowing that I made their day better !
What attracted me is that I enjoy taking care of residents, knowing I cam help put a smile on their face & make sure they are happy & comfortable! What I most enjoy is all the stories they tell me! I am a greaf caregiver because I always make sure things are done how they are wanted per residents & also make sure they are happy & relaxed! I am a mother myself & very proud of it! I would like to move up in the medical field to tend to my family!
A hard working and dedicated individual with an optimum commitment rate even under the most immense pressure alongside a mature attitude. I possess excellent communication and people skills gained through my time of working 'face to face' in a customer driven environment. I am at present seeking a new role that will encompass my skills and knowledge as well as provide me with a development path both personally and professionally.
I have empathy and compassion for everyone. I have the desire to want to help as I may need the same one day. I have plenty of patience and a great listener. I am also very respectful and observant. I was a caregiver to my grandfather who became sick before his passing, so I am very familiar with being a caregiver. I also have 2 children which I feel enhances caring abilities.
Being a caregiver is such an honor it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what caregiving is all about. Being a caregiver is more than a paycheck it's what I LOVE DOING [?]
My mother and two of my sisters were in the health field and they all three loved it. Looking into the Care Giving field is just a dream I've been going towards because the impact you can make in someone life is a huge aspiration. The fact that i can help someone in their life to make a positive impact day in and day out is just a wonderful thing to have as a goal.
