I'm 35 years of age, I have been doing caregiver's work for 11 years. I enjoy taking pride in my work and make family with residents. I treat each and everyone of my residents with respect and dignity. Regardless of their diseases they may have. At the end of the day they're still human. I have gained many of friendship with my residents. I became a caregiver when my grandmother became sick and we took turns caring for her. It made me look at life totally different. I care for my clients as if I would want someone to care for myself,or my mom. What I enjoy most is how happy my residents be when they see me and greet me by name that let's me know I'm doing something right. Cause even though they have dementia they are still able to remember my name. That let me know I left a mark on their heart. So a smile goes a long way.

I have been a caregiver for over 2 years now. I got my nurse assistant certificate from Triton in 2013. I have worked for a couple home care agencies with numerous clients. I've had the pleasure of working with permanent clients and their family's which I've enjoyed. I'm very compassionate, kind, patient, and reliable. I have dementia/alzheimers experience as well.
I became a caregiver because I understand a certain people especially the elderly people need the respect and care that they deserve and help. the reason why I like the caregiver field because its the field that my family do its in the bloodline, but that's not the whole reason why I even became a care giver, the main reason is that I really like taking care of the people who needs my expertise...personal achievement I can think of is that most of my patient or client are always happy when am around and am a very fast learner
