About Sharyn

I feel that I am a great caregiver for many reasons. I was raised by and around a family of amazing nurses, nurses assistants, homemakers and caregivers alike. You can almost say that I was born to nurture and care for the well being of others. My Mother and Aunt were the first nursing professionals to introduce me to the nursing profession. They both notice my kind and nurturing behavior early on in my childhood and encouraged me to pursue a career in nursing after graduating high school. And man were they right! I just dove right in to the nursing and caregiving profession as if it was second nature to my character. For a little over ten years I have enjoyed learning and expanding my nursing skills to many different fields of nursing. I mostly enjoy the companionship and friendships I have had the chance to build during my career. It's the most rewarding to me that, just by being there for someone to talk to in what could be a pivotal time in a persons life, could make someone feel as though I provide them some degree of normalcy in their life, while going though a health crisis or even entering a different stage of life when a person is more dependent on the care from another just to get through the day. I most proud of achieving my Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, because that gave me an opportunity to expand my career goals in the nursing field.
