I love taking care of the elderly because when my grandparents were alive I would help my mother take care of them, this is how I realized this was my calling. Caring for my grandparents gave me first-hand experience in caregiving. When I take care of others, I am reminded of my grandparents and hope to provide the same love and care for others.

Hi my name is clarissa Adams I'm a single mother of one and been caregiving for 10 years now. I chose this career because enjoy creating bonds with clients and their family and this is also a job that has to be done. I used to work in a nursing home and did not like the way the clients were being treated and I felt like no matter how much I report anything even though I will if I see something wrong its up to the caregivers to make sure that they show compassion and be considerate of the clients and do their job properly. I understand that sometimes the family just cant be there for their loved one and it completely doesn't mean they don't love them that's where I come in I have no issue with working over I'm very reliable I often sacrifice my holidays for clients but I consider them family as well. Most of all I would love to get to know you the caretakers of my future clients. I'm very polite and have plenty of experience in hospice care and basic needs care. I would love for you to get to know me better in person if you choose me. Thank you for taking the time to consider me God Bless.

I have been in the health career for fifteen years and I'm currently in the nursing program at Richland Community College to become an RN. I would like to help someone in there home that needs help with activities of daily living because I feel it's important to manage care at home, where they feel the most comfortable. I enjoy the compassion it takes to be a good caregiver and I enjoy helping others. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is I continue to love the nursing field and I love the opportunity to be able to grow and learn different areas of nursing and home care is one that I feel I will enjoy as well.
I became a caregiver about 4 years ago I absolutely enjoy working with the elderly and love being there for them physically mentally and emotionally I have a very loving vibe and also very caring I'm very outgoing and easy going I love to talk with the elderly people and see how there life was growing up and just being there for someone for them to talk to so they won't feel alone. Although every day can be different and challenging in many ways I learned how to cope with certain things as I've grown over the years in the healthcare field. I'm very friendly and someone you can trust to get the job done the right way to take care of your loved one.

I specialize according to my academic and professional background with handling individuals that suffer from either a mental/physical illness/disability more specifically, psychology related field. I have experience both professional and personal helping those that may be in need of services related to caregiving. I am very hardworking, compassionate and a real team player when it comes to giving and treating others how I would like to be treated if I was in their place. I worked in a alzethmeizers unit as a dietary aide and I was very blown away with the individuals I was servicing, due to the huge compassion behind mental illness and offering services to those that are in need. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is conversation, there is a great deal of knowledge to be learned from our older population and the fat that there's a job that pairs the two together, ultimately completes my goals of wanting to get back into working as a caregiver.
I'm very passionate about what I do, I love being able to help others. Knowing I'm making a difference in someone else's life has had a big impact in my own life. I love the relationships I build with the residents I come into contact with. I'm proud to say I go over and beyond for every person I take care of. I'm very loving and caring and will do anything in the world for my residents![?]
Hi there! I am a 32 year old mother of 2. I live in Bethany with my 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son. I have always loved caring for others, no matter their age or needs. I find giving yourself to someone else in your profession is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling! I especially have a tender spot for the elderly. As a girl I volunteered in nursing homes my mama was employed by. She's a nurse of 18 years and opened the door to this world for me. I immediately fell in love with providing care and knew this was my calling in life. I am CPR certified, and have performed CPR successfully once after a patient suffered a heart attack. I am also certified in home care, Alzheimer's Disease, communicable disease, bathing/grooming, and transferring. I am able to perform glucose checks, manage oxygen use, take blood pressures, and perform range of motion. I am trained in creating and carrying out care plans as well as shift charting. My most recent patient has passed away, leaving me to find someone to devote myself to. I was with him for approximately 7 years, and the loss has been difficult. After taking some time to grieve, I am now ready to move forward and continue the line of work I am so passionate about. I am a very compassionate, caring woman. ...quick to smile and love to laugh. I am incredibly detail oriented and very reliable. I understand the importance of patience and building a foundation of trust, while giving consideration to each individual's needs and wants. It's never only about what someone needs. What a person wants is just as important, and if at all possible to safely give them that, I feel the effort should be made. My goal is to provide the medical care my patient needs, while also being a companion and allowing them to remain in their home where they feel safe and secure in their surroundings.
I am a mother of 3 children (& multiple God children) and a grandma of 2. I always have a house full of kids! I worked in the healthcare field for years. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!
