I've became a caregiver because of my passion in helping people of various ages, either by translating, taking them to doctor appointments, approaching a behavioral situation in an appropriate manner, etc... By being a caregiver, I am able to relate to many types of people whether they are children or Seniors. The fact that I can make my clients laugh, for me to listen to positive comments about my job from a client or seeing a client smile, makes my job very rewarding. I love to be able to have a bonding connection between the clients. A personal achievement that I am proud of is the day that I was able to receive my Citizenship for United States. I am a refugee from Africa, Congo and attended school in Tanzania before coming to the United States. I came to the United States on September 7, 2007 with my family. I had to learn how to speak English then complete High School. During and after High School, I've worked hard in order to help my mother financially until 2012. Afterwards, I was able to leave my mom's home in order to be independent.
