About Tashauna

I became a caregiver because one thing I love is to help others. I realized this when I was young and inexperienced. My grandmother had gotten sick and I helped her the whole way through as much as I could while in school. Glad to say she is still living till this very day! Working as a Direct Support Professional this job is fulfilling. Everyday that I go into work my heart is warm just knowing that I am making a difference in someone life. I plan to carry on with this job and its surrounding area and make it into a career! What I am most proud of is the offer my job gave me. Yes, I was honored but did not take it because the job description was mostly office work and I would not see my clients as much. I am a peoples person and I love to interact and make others smile. What makes me a great caregiver? I will always go out my way to put the clients needs first and do what is best for them with any decision that I am allowed to make! I am also a Certified Nurse Assistant and have been working with individuals with disabilities for a few years now. Hope to hear from you!
