my name is Brittany. I have been a certified nursing assistant and home health aid for 5 years now. I am a mother of three and currently in the process of starting my own home care business. I am experienced with working with the elderly and also children with special needs. My great grandfather lived to be 93 and I believe it was because he was in the comfort of his own home and had my assistance through out the years. I have 20 years of experience in the medical/nursing field. I've worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and agencies and have found that in home care is the field best suited for me. I tend to be drawn toward Alzheimer/dementia patients as I'm learning my approach in care, they tend to respond to me best. I have worked with several families and helped to restore certain independence to patients with walking, dressing, feeding themselves. I ran a restorative therapy program for over two years in a nursing facility before deciding to take a home care position with an agency.
What makes me an AWESOME caregiver is because it is a God's gift that has been given to me and the passion has always been there for me since I was a child. I would go visit the sick and shut ins with my mother and grandmother whom were missionaries. I enjoy the smiles of appreciation that I am there helping clients whom needs assistance to stay in their home, gain strength to gain their independecet back, and just companionship. My personality traits and expertise that help me continue to being an AWESOME caregiver is my loyalty, trustworthiness, sense of humor, the gifts I give my clients during holidays and birthdays, and loving on my clients as if they are my own immediate family. My availability is Tue thru Thurs from 7pm to 7am ONLY! I look forward to hearing from you.

A short preview of me... I started volunteering at our local nursing facility when I was 12 years old. At the tender age of 15, I had my very first Home Care job. I have also worked in a facility but have found that I really enjoy the one on one care I can give an individual. I've been doing Home Care for 27 years now. It's my passion. I currently am State Certified Home Health Care Aide . I have also had CNA training in the past. I love the care that I can provide for those in need. It's the most rewarding career I believe.
