I have lived with and cared for my grandmother (88 years old as of today), since age 14. She had Polio as a child and has always been handicapped. She is able to care for herself somewhat, however I prepare her meals, take her to appointments, and keep her company. I stepped up at a young age when my grandfather passed away in 1997. I have always had compassion for others, and being able to help others gives me true joy. I worked outside the home as well as caring for her since the beginning. She is able to maintain during the day as long as I have everything prepared and her medication sorted and administered. I cook and clean well, and don't mind doing so.
