Approximately 10 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. I realized how rewarding it was to feel the satisfaction of really helping someone. In the past 7 years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) companionship, transportation, meals, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, getting dressed, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid. As a Christian CNA, your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

my name is Madison, I became a caregiver originally to get more experience for nursing, I love what I do because I love helping and taking care of everyone. I'm a great listener, I'm very people oriented, and I'm always willing to help. I have done this certain job for a year now and I am certainly going to further my education!
I am a great caregiver because I don't treat caring for patients as a job. My goal is make my families feel as if I'm one of them. I am very caring and passionate, as well as understanding. I build a personal bond that allows the family and their loved one to feel safe and secure in my care. I decided being a caregiver was my calling once my grandmother became ill with brain cancer and I was responsible for her during the days. Although she was my granny, caring for her allowed me to see life differently, love her even more, and build a bond way different from just that of being her granddaughter. I developed a passion for the responsibilities I had and want to help make more families feel satisfied and at ease knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
I became I caregiver because I enjoy seeing people reach personal goals and helping others with daily life. I aspire to be a pediatric RN one day but for now I just want to be able to help others and see them happy. I am very outgoing and loving. I've also been told I'm very wise for my age. A personal achievement im proud of is being able to go to classes and UK and complete SRNA classes as well as BLS & CPR as a senior in high school. What I enjoy most is helping others and being able to see the smile across their face when they reach the satisfaction level they have been striving for and for others to know that there is somebody out there who cares.

Hello, I have been a nursing assistant for approximately 28 years. I have worked in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home health. I recently moved to Georgetown, Ky after working in Cincinnati in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. I am looking for a position as a caregiver of either a senior or a family. I am great with children and even provided day care services in my home some years ago. I am honest, loyal, hardworking, optimistic, cheerful, prompt, and a non-smoker. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am seeking long-term employment with a team-oriented family or senior. I am detailed oriented and am able to work independently to meet the needs of my employer. My husband and I are empty nesters so I enjoy being able to help others again. I am looking forward to meeting some of the wonderful families in the area and providing help to families in need.
