My grandma is the reason I became a caregiver. She got sick and was hospitalized for over 4 months and then was sent to several nursing and rehabilitation centers. I noticed she wasn't getting the care she needed at a particular nursing home and I always told her I'm going to become a nurse so I can take care of her whenever she need me to, from the time she got released from the hospital and nursing homes I went to school to get my CNA and I've been working as a CNA since then. I love to help others I've always been a caring person and love to assist people seeing the look on people faces when I help them without making them feel like they need the help but more so feeling like I'm there as a companion they can trust me and is going to be there for them when they need me. I'm very proud of becoming a CNA but I will be even more proud when I become a RN. I'm a caring person that loves to help others I believe Nursing is a passion of mine and I will continue this journey to become a RN here in the very near future.
