About Jaezza

I've been a caregiver since I was 15 years old. The 1st person was my great grandmother. My Grandmother is a ARNP, MN, RN. I learned from the best. I have been certified since I was 18. I have worked in long term facilities while living in Kansas until I moved back to Florida. While here I have worked for an Agency for the last 6 years. While with them I have worked private duty, Hospice, Sitter, and now a Health Support Tech (elem. school clinic). I have been in broward county schools since Sept 2010. I worked full time at the 1st school from Jan '11 to Jun '12. During the '12-13 school year I worked as a "Floater" basically filling in for other HSTs who had to take a day off. '13-14 school year I was assigned full time to a new school closer to home. I have been there ever since. The students, staff, and parents at any school I work at are always pleased with my work and the way I handle the students (I call them my babies). So i tell them I treat them like my very own. Working in the schools is one of the most rewarding jobs I've had even though I have amazing stories and memories with my residents and patients wether in a nursing home or hospital. Just knowing I helped someone who needed it warms my heart. Seeing the smile on their face is all I need but when I hear how much they appreciate it, it makes up for all the body fluids I've had on me or the punches from combative patients.

I have been a caretaker for over 5 years and am a licensed CNA. I treat all my patients with respect, dignity, compassion and most of all I'm sensitive to their needs. I found that listening to the patients and family concerns, go a long way in caring for the patients' health. I assist patients with bathing, dressing, housekeeping and preparing their meals. I also provide transportation to and from their medical appointments, grocery store, etc. I am able to pass a level two background check. And I own a dog walking business; hence, I am comfortable around pets.
