I chose to become a caregiver because it is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can do. I have a passion for putting others first. When I see someone with an intellectual or physical disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life it makes all the challenges along the way worthwhile. I am willing to make small changes to my everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with a disability. I love being a caregiver because of the joyous and grateful feelings I get when I see a patient positvely respond to the enviornment and care that I have provided. I am very proud of my work ethic. I get things done fast but to the best of my capabilites. I am reliable, loyal and I enjoy coming up with better solutions to problems. A fact about myself is that in the next ten years I see myself as a Physicians Assistant. ... more
