I am a 52 year old with 3 daughter's. I have been a RN for years working in Wichita KS. My husband and I spend our summers at the lake during school break. I am not wanting to be tied down to working in a hospital during the summer, but would like to help else where if possible. Caregiving is all I have done during my career. I am not available till May 21st and go back to work Aug. 15th. Not wanting to function as an RN this summer.
Hello, my name is Sarah Grunwald, and I've been a CNA since 2011. I've worked in both settings as a CNA at an assisted living facility and clients homes. My personality traits as a caregiver are super friendly, I try to get to know and understand a client and their families to provide the best care for a client to keep both family and client at ease. Being a caregiver is something just indented into my DNA. My goal is to give the best care I can give, while maintaining a client's independence so that they may stay in their homes as long as they possibly can. I enjoy caregiving it gives me a sense of accomplishment seeing that clients families are at ease knowing their loved one is being taken care of with the best care given possible.

I started late in life, but I have over 15 years of customer service with me. I love talking and meeting new people. I have always loved to help people to the best of my abilities. Which is why I chose this field. My own personal achievement is the fact that I have a knack for making almost anyone smile. It is a goal everyday to spread kindness.
I chose to become a caregiver because it is one of the most rewarding jobs a person can do. I have a passion for putting others first. When I see someone with an intellectual or physical disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life it makes all the challenges along the way worthwhile. I am willing to make small changes to my everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with a disability. I love being a caregiver because of the joyous and grateful feelings I get when I see a patient positvely respond to the enviornment and care that I have provided. I am very proud of my work ethic. I get things done fast but to the best of my capabilites. I am reliable, loyal and I enjoy coming up with better solutions to problems. A fact about myself is that in the next ten years I see myself as a Physicians Assistant.
I enjoy helping others I always look at the residents as a own family member. I started this not knowing that I would enjoy this as much as I do. There are so many homes now that have issues with the residents and there employees that it sad that we are there to care for them and they are getting hurt. I enjoy what I do and there is a pride to doing what you love.
I have been in the medical field being trained amd licensed as a CNA CMA and Phlebotomist. I also worked in hospitals nursing homes and was a shift lead for assisted living facilities. I was raised to have respect for our elders and will treat your loved ones with the utmost respect.
I like taking care of someone that is not able to care for themselves. I have seen in past where others needed help and there was no one. I have obtained my CNA and currently in school to obtain RN. I like the ideal of helping when they need the help and not being a nuisance. I am a veteran of 20 plus years and CNA of 20plus years. I am sympathetic and empathic as well. I am also planning on obtaining APRN/Psych degree to where I can help others not only medically but psychologically as well. I have taken care of Alzheimer's patients, patients that have no mobility as well as hospice patients. I would like to be able to help others in their time of need and to ensure them that there is people that honestly care for others and will help them.
I am a registered nurse with an active unrestricted RN license in the state of Kansas since 1991, and possess a current adult/child CPR certification. I have spent the last 6 years working at my children's private Christian School providing nursing services to a large population of international athletes/students. I have a exceptional love for people! I was raised in Salina, Kansas by my grandparents, and experienced a loving joy-filled upbringing. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings from labor & delivery and newborn nursery, to home health and school nursing, to weight-loss clinics and physician offices. I would love to provide care for your loved one!
I became a Certified Nurse Aide because I enjoy helping others. It makes me feel good to feel needed and provide my services to anyone who needs it. I am most specialized in geriatrics care and that is the department I have worked for this past year but I am open to new things. Many of the residents I take care of tell me frequently that I am a great CNA and I am kind and sweet. I love to help people and I would love this job!
