About Regen

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping individuals who can no longer care themselves independently. I enjoy being a caregiver because I feel that I am making a personal contribution to that individual's life, by assisting them with the activities that they can no longer do by themselves, however at the same time maintaining their dignity they have by allowing them to do the activities that they can do by themselves. My personal achievement is simply seeing the individuals I've cared for improve and thrive as a result of my care that I have given them. I am a soft-spoken person by nature, and I feel that is something that the people I have cared for have come to like and appreciate about me.

    My responsibilities at this company included assisting residents with their Activities of Daily Living, which included bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance. Also included in responsibilities were recording resident's vital signs and obtaining residents' weights on a weekly basis. Assistance with meal trays to resident rooms and feeding residents was also a part of my job responsibilities. I also assisted with meals in the dining room, and feeding there when needed. Other duties included transportation to and from resident's activities. In addition, good communication with nurses involving any changes in residents were also a part of my duties.
