About Patsy

I truly enjoy working with the elderly. I am compassionate and dedicated. My mission is to improve quality of care. I became a caregiver because I saw there was a great need for it. I get a great fulfillment in making a difference in their daily lives. I especially like the companionship. I treat them like they would be one of my parents. One of my best personal achievements was with one of my elderly female patients. She was in a rehab and regressing. Her daughters got in touch with me through a friend and asked if I could be a live in caregiver. I was with her for a year and a half. She made so much progress at the age of 90 that she is now at home functioning her daily routine on her own.

She was on oxygen and I had to check her blood sugar for her diabetes. I helped with all of her personal hygiene. I also brought her back and forth to the doctor. I keep a very thorough log for the family records. I keep an individual log for every person I work for. She became self-sufficient and had 6 daughters that would check in on her.
