I was responsible for getting vitals at beginning of each shift and receiving repot from the off going PCT as well as giving report as my shift ended. Responsibilities included, complex dressing changes, accuchecks, hanging tube feeding, check residuals, reposition paralyzed patients, bowel programs, and inserting a catheter, suction patients with air ways, Provide coaching to family members and patient on how to continue care as t hey leave the rehab center. Fill in on occasion as a Unit Secretary putting in orders and calling physicians and different hospitals. Worked as a telemetry tech watching the monitors, reporting and recording anything out of the normal to supervisor.
