I really enjoy helping the elderly or persons that are stricken with a disease. I consider myself to a very compassionate and caring person. I go beyond the job duty to make the client comfortable and/or entertained throughout their day. I have been drawn to caring for individuals who need extra help since I was very young.

Hi, my name is La Toya and I'm 35 years old. I have 3 years experience as a CNA. The reason I love doing CNA because I care about people who needs care and can't do things on their own. I had to stay home and take care of my mom until she passed away from Alzheimer's disease. That made me love it even more. I love to treat a person like I treated my mom and how they are supposed to be treated. I just enjoy being in the company of people who know they are being treated right with patience, kindness and a lil laughter every now and then. I wouldn't give that opportunity up for nothing in the world seeing a person happy and content.

I wanted to become a caregiver by the age of 9. I became interested from seeing my mother work in the health field during her younger ages then becoming a home health aide. I'm a very small but strong individual that can deal with many tasks. I'm a very companion and passionate person. I enjoy making others happy and comfortable while I am around . One of my most personal achievements I am proud of is working with an autistic patient and making this individual step out of his comfort zone and becoming social with his surroundings. I love helping others and putting smiles on faces
I became a caregiver because I love helping people. Making life easy and comfortable in your own home. Helping with everyday needs and chores. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is the fact that. Caring for someone other than your self is a blessing. The biggest achievement I am proud of is over coming things in my life. To the point where I want to help others over come things in they life. I'm 39 years old. I have been taking care of other people for over half of my life. I love living I love life and I love helping others live their life to the fullest.
I love to have conversations and talk, but I also love to listen. I have a passion for reading, telling stories, and helping others. I am extremely patient and compassionate. I am very responsible and always on time. I began caregiving when my grandparents both got sick. My poppa was diagnosed with Alzheimer's while my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I moved in and took care of them full time and loved it ever since. I love knowing that no matter what people are being taken care of and loved.

I'm a person who loves to help. Helping families keep their loved ones at home and comfortable. Providing companion care and the best medical care that I can. I take what I do to heart because I've been there and I understand. I'm proud of no matter what job I do my clients love it. One of my biggest accomplishments was helping and achieving a hip replacement client drive again. That made me so very happy.
The things that makes me a great caregiver are my compassion for others, my caring heart, outgoing and friendly personality, I love helping others and seeing people happy, My warm and sincere smile that says you can trust me. and last m perseverance to never give up. I decided to become a caregiver because my grandmother became ill. The family kept her at home. so everyone had to take turns taking care of her. That showed me that i had to heart and care to do this job, and I loved doing it. I like being a caregiver because, I love to help people, make them smile, and bring as much joy to their day as I can. there are so many people out in the world with no family to make them feel loved and let them know there is someone they can depend on when they need help or just someone to listen to them. I am proud of the day I decided to become a CNA, I think back to my grandmother. Taking care of her let me knew this was something I would love to do. And she encouraged me to do so. She told me that I have the heart for this line of work, and that's the kind of person people like to take care of them, a person that has a heart for the job they do.
