I have always been a caregiver. My father became ill when I was young and I helped care for him for many years. Human Services has always been my career path. I have worked in childcare and also raise 3 children of my own. I've worked as a case manager for those with mental illness, addiction, and chronic homelessness. Most recently I've been a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults and the elderly. I've always enjoyed caring for others and it makes me feel good to hopefully brighten up someone's day and take some of the weight off the family's shoulders so that their time with their loved one can be enjoyed as it should!
