I have recently discovered a real passion for working with the elderly and people facing terminal illness. I have spent the last 8 years as a teacher and teacher trainer traveling the world, but after serving as the caregiver to two terminally ill parents - I want to help other families going through similar experiences.     I have spent the last 9 years in education, most recently as the global director of teacher training - managing a multi-national team of teacher trainers and overseeing the teacher training programs for thousands of teachers across four developing countries. While this is my first venture into health care, my own personal experiences as a caregiver highlighted how many similarities there are in the field of teaching and caregiving. I'm a diligent, creative, patient and thoughtful educator and bring those skills to caregiving as well.

Working for the family matriarch required abundant labor (my grandmother was elderly), but the daily chores gave rise to an unexpected pleasure; I liked being responsible.
