I received my certification after my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Through taking care of him, I found my calling. I love caring for others. I have worked as a in-home caregiver for four years. The benefit of working as an in-home caretaker is that I get to engage with my client on such an intimate level. I get to know and help them in their own space which is a privilege I don't take lightly. I love learning about my resident's life and doing the things like they like to do. I have taken care of a variety of people with a wide range of different ailments... from cancer to Parkinson's. I am energetic and a quick learner. Some of my hobbies include....
