what make me a great caregiver are empathy, and compassion. For one to be a great caregiver, one must have empathy, and compassion to be able to care for individuals especially the elderly because it requires patience and a great attitude to be compassionate. We are all going to be aged one day, and it is someone that would be there to care for us if we are unable to do certain things on our own. I chose to be a caregiver because I started as a child growing up caring for my grandmother who partially lost her memory until she passed on, and as a result I feel I have done something that requires reward. It was not easy, but the positives surpassed the negatives. I decided to continue where I stopped to continue to care for individuals who need assistance and would feel loved because someone cares. I am proud of my achievements because I have continued to add smiles to someone's face, and make them feel loved.
