I have been working with the elderly and disabled for about fifteen years and love every minute of it ... I have worked with clients of multiple needs and abilities. I have years of experience and training with dementia, Alzheimer's, short term memory, mobility, behavioral and medical needs .. My clients have been male, female and some children. i can do Hoyer lifts, ADL's, activities, medication, wound care, meals and feeding, companionship and care and comfort just about everything!!! I have worked with clients in nursing homes, ALF's, residential group homes as well as private care in homes. Personally ..I had been working full time with a Hospice agency for the last five years, but recently left to have more time for private care which is what i prefer.
