I became a caregiver because it is very natural for me to identify and tend to the needs of other human beings. I thrive on being a nurture and providing the basic human needs while making sure the person in need of assistance keeps their dignity. We all have to be dependent on each other for one reason or another. It takes a village to make it in this world. I ran a very successful home day care for 28 years which allowed me to be at home to raise my own 3 children. They are my greatest joy and achievement in my life. They are all wonderful contributions to society. There is so much satisfaction in providing care to someone who is dependent and thrives because of the respectful way in which I provide love and care. I am a very upbeat, friendly person. Very kind and approachable. It is very complimentary to me to have the trust of a person who will allow me to be part of their life and help them to live a rewarding life. I would embrace the opportunity to become a caregiver to that special someone.
