I became a caregiver because of my love and compassion. I have always wanted to work in the health field, but being able to find a career where you can care for someone that can no longer care for themselves or provide companionship for someone who does not like to be alone. I love the rewarding feeling I get when someone I care for confides in me or tells me that they wouldn't know what they would do if I never came around! I generally like making people feel good about themselves and allowing them to do as much as they can on their own.
