I am a great caregiver because I truly love elderly people and want to see them happy and healthy. I became a caregiver because I took care of my father who had Alzheimer's for 8yrs. After he died, I promised myself that one day I would make it my career to help others the sameway. I like making older ones feel happy and comfortable. As well as the satisfaction of helping family to be confident that their loved one is being well taken care of. I am proud of the fact that I have always worked hard and honestly in all my jobs. I am 38yrs old and a Chritsain. I have an 8yr old beautiful daughter. I also have 10yrs managing and housecleaning experience to offer. Thank you for your consideration.

I have a 25 year old son who is autistic and it has become my mission in life to treat others the way I want my disabled child to be treated. He is a gift from God above, and so are our elders. The wisdom that they share is worth much more than all the money in the world. I recently lost my mother to lupus, she passed on alone. Because she felt like she was a burden. Life is precious, I am a very caring and compassionate person who always sees the glass as half full. I love to cook and care for others
I make residents feel safe and cared for whether at home or in a nursing home. I am patient and love helping people. All the patients I have cared for I have taken care of for 3+ years. One of the reasons I love being a CNA is because when my father fell sick and went into a nursing home I saw how much of a positive impact a good caring CNA had on him. I want to be that positive impact for somebody elses family member. :)
I love to help keep as much of independence as you'd like. I cared for both of my parents in their last year and seeing the stress and pressure it causes I know that sometimes family members need a little help. I do this with heart and treat each person as I would my own family. I have a big heart and an amazing funny bone. I can make you laugh or sit as you read. Whatever is going to make you comfortable.
I became a caregiver because, at some point or another were all going to need some help and if I can be there to help I am happy to do so. I like building relationships with the clients, learning from each other and sharing life experience, you never know what What wisdom you might hear! A personal achievement that I take pride in is serving my country in the army, the ultimate caregiver service to the people of the United States of America.
When I was 15 years old my grandmother was placed under hospice care, the compassionate care my grandmother recieved opened my heart to a new work of love for others. I have purpose when I care for others. I get such a overwhelming sense of peace, as though im caring for a family member I love with all I have. When I became a caregiver I knew the care and love I provide to people would be the same love and care I would expect when my time comes. With that comfort, giving up personal rights to my caregiver would be alittle easier. A personal achievement of my own was when I realized I had greater love inside of me to provide hospice care to wonderful people, who allowed me to be a part of there lives until the end of time.
