What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I'm a good listener, I have patience, respect,empathy, and I will respect their privacy. What made me want to become a caregiver so I can make a great difference in someone's life. The smile on a client face when I'm helping makes me happy. A personal achievement I have is i have good reccomendations from past clients and my former care facility where I worked for nearly 20 years.

I have seven years of experience in the field of nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Certified Medication Technician (CMT). I have demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed goals, and I have a proven history of valuable skills. I also have extensive ability to resolve key issues, communicate pivotal concepts, and develop innovative ideas. I always love helping other people and I enjoy impacting clients' lives in a positive way. I appreciate the opportunity to get to know my clients and their families, and to become an integral part of their lives while providing excellent care and support. I became caregiver because I use to take care my Mom when she was seek and I love when I was doing it that's why I know as soon I have a chance to learn how to do it better I got it and become Nursing was my dream since I was a kid I thank God that. I have my little boy he was diagnosed with asthma before I was worried about now I know how to take care of him , what to make eat for health to be strong before I has to see his pediatrician every 2 and go to emergency every 2 times a month right now he can play all day long , even his pediatrician got surprised he is in good health I make him eat more vegetables , fruits, he drinks more water than juice he is happy and I am happy we don't visit any emergency room for 2 years, no more medication at school even at school, I am proud of that and I thank God.

I am a hardworking mom of 4 and I always treat people the way I want to be treated. I am always on time with my job and always making sure that I provide good services and all time. I am a happy, honest, loving, funny and dedicated to my job. I love hiking, watching movies, eating and hanging out with my kids during my off time.

I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I'm a patient and compassionate person, I love to be around elderly. They are very smart and full of wisdom. I feel like I'm the lucky one to be with them and help them through this step of life. Even when they rejected me, I never took it personal and tried to understand them. I have been taking care of my mother in law for 6 years and I'm happy and proud to say that caregiving is a big personal accomplishment, and I'm proud of my resourcefulness, flexibility and determination.
