I'm currently going to get my nursing degree, so I can do more for my community. One of the big reasons I think I have thrived as a caregiver is because I'm a very outgoing and caring person. I care about everyone else and make sure they are happy. I put them before myself. I'm always smiling and laughing, which makes my patients happy. I'm a very open person as well, which makes it easier to talk to families! Some of my strengths are time management, I'm a hard worker, I'm always up for a challenge, and I'm always willing to learn a new skill or try something new, and PATIENCE! Patience is a key strength in this career field. I have experience with Alzheimer's/ Demntia, Diabetes, Colostomy/ Catheters changes, amputees, mental illness, cancer, and TBI injuries.
