I graduated from two colleges after my husband passed and raised two children now adults who have their own families. I thank God that through trials and tribulations in my life, I am an overcomer who achieved the goals that I set for my life. I am happy with my life and still have plans to do more.

I was assigned to 18 patients a day where I fed them breakfast and lunch, bathed and dressed them, assisted them in their wheelchair and took them into the lounge room for patients so they could watch TV. I changed sheets and put fresh linen on their beds daily and took the bag of dirty linen to the laundry room. I sat with my patients and took them back to their room in the afternoon so their depends could be changed or assisted them to the bathroom. Then I assisted each patient into their bed for a nap. I brought snacks in for each patient.
