(1). I became a caregiver because one day i volunteer at a nursing home here in Maryland and i seen the way some of the residents was being treated and I didn't like it at all. So i decided to become a caregiver to make a difference in these residents life's. (2). I like the fact that I can give a resident or a client, patient my undivided attention. In to be able to cater to their needs. It give me great joy to my heart to help someone that is unable to do for themselves. (3). I am proud of myself because I have learned to be passionate and caring, to put other people needs before my own. (4). I take my job very seriously because I don't look at it for a pay check. I do this because I care about the well beings of other. I was always told that I have a big heart. I have work with clients who just needed companionship to hospice clients.
